 One-on-One training is the best way to help improve your baseball and softball skill level. Our instructors have the experience and know how, to teach the correct fundamentals of the game. With private lessons, the instructor will work with each player to discover and improve weaknesses that they may have. |

Newman and Murphree, MVP's Newest Staff Members

We are pleased to announce that Cassie Newman, a former Troy University Softball player, is the newest member of our teaching staff. Cassie played at Troy University as a catcher and third baseman for the past three years. She will be teaching lessons Monday through Thursday and will help Sally Jones teach pitching lessons on Fridays and Sundays for the group that has signed up through the Troy Recreation Department. Mike Murphree, Volunteer Assistant Coach at Troy University, will begin teaching a limited schedule of baseball lessons for MVP Training Center. His lessons will be in the evening hours from 7-PM, Monday-Thursday and on weekend days when his schedule permits. Because of this limited schedule, we will be offering special training packages for Coach Murphree. Although he will be available for one-on-one private lessons, we are also offering the following special packages:
2 Players at a time for 6 hours of lessons ($105.00 each--save $45 off the cost of private lessons)
3 Players at a time for 6 hours of lessons ($90.00 each--save $60 off the cost of private lessons)
4 Players at a time for 6 hours of lessons ($75.00 each--save $75 off the cost of private lessons)
Lesson participants will be responsible for finding the other players that will make up the groups who are eligible for these special packages. Individual lessons will be at the normal rate of $150.00 for six hours, or $250.00 for 12 hours.
